1930 - Born in the USA
1935 - Began to study the piano
1946-1950 - Studied at the Juilliard School of Music: piano under Irwin Freundlich
1950 - Awarded Diploma in piano from the Juilliard School of Music
1950 - Immigrated to Israel
1951 - Participated in the founding of Kibbutz Kissufim, of which still a member
1955-1970 - Activities as a pianist and accompanist
1962-1963 - Studied at the Juilliard School of Music: piano under Irwin Freundlich
1963 - Awarded B. S. in Music and Academic Prize from Juilliard School of Music
1965-1971 - Continued activities as a pianist and teacher
1972 - Awarded B. Mus. with Honors from the University of London
1973 - Accepted as a doctoral candidate at the Hebrew University
1973-1976 - Taught at Hebrew University and Rubin Academy of Music in Jerusalem
1976 - Awarded Ph. D. in Musicology from the Hebrew University, for the dissertation
     "The Songs of Charles Ives" written under the supervision of Prof. Joseph Tal
1977-1978 - Taught at the Hebrew University
1978-1979 - Post-doctoral research in New York
1980-2001 - Lecturer in music at Ben-Gurion University in Beersheba
Now retired, but still teaching part time at Ben-Gurion University in Beersheba
