WHICH VERSE?

People who think for themselves understand that the Bible is a compilation of many sources from many different times, and therefore are not surprised to find contradictions in it. Devoutly religious people, on the other hand, believe that the Bible is the word of God, inerrant and infallible. The following is a series of pairs of Biblical verses which contradict each other. The problem facing those for whom faith is more important than intelligent thought is: which of the two verses in each pair is God's own truth?
